The simple terms for playing ONARU City.

Draft for owner review. This page describes how the game works today. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer. Items marked [owner to confirm] need a decision before launch.

The game

ONARU City is a game developed by Yomi Onalaru. By playing you agree to these terms and to the Rules. Features that are labelled “soon” are plans, not promises.

Coins, property and roles are virtual

OC coins and in-game houses, shops, offices, trucks and items are virtual. They have no cash value, cannot be withdrawn, and do not give you any real-world ownership or legal right.
Government seats (President, Vice President and elected seats) are game roles. City votes decide game matters only. They cannot approve company spending, grant access to company systems, or create employment.

Real purchases

Optional purchases are paid in real money through Paystack. Items are added after the server confirms the payment. Prices are shown before you pay. [owner to confirm refund policy, product prices and VAT treatment]

Real businesses

Businesses in the city may be simulated or verified. A game mission does not verify payment, perform real work, or bind a business. Job applications through the game are only a first step; hiring is decided by the business.

Accounts and conduct

Keep your PIN private. We may limit, suspend or remove accounts that break the Rules, and we may reset gains obtained by cheating.

Changes and availability

The game is under active development and may change, pause or reset test data. We aim to keep your characters, but a browser-only save can be lost if you clear your data.
